Thank you so much for sharing this message God laid on your heart. I listened to it in it’s entirety while I was making supper. I loved the analogy with the Miracle Grow and weed killer. I have a very dear friend that I have forwarded this message to. She has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She is such a mess. But, for some reason, God has put me in her life. I try the best I can to be there for her no matter what. On top of the bipolar, she also struggles with anorexia and bulimia, has done cutting and other destructive things to herself to deal with the hurt. I cry out loud to the Lord sometimes. I just feel so helpless. I’m scared for her. I’m so afraid I’m going to get that phone call I absolutely dread…that she has hurt herself too far. She’s married with 3 beautiful kids. I also know God is bigger. I give her to Him everyday. I don’t have the power to help her, but He does. I pray she turns to God every time she thinks about her past hurt. All I can do is be a friend and seek the Lord with helping her when I can.
